After 16 years of marriage and 5 children you can imagine the amount of \"stuff\" we had. And then we combined households. Fix and I moved into Big and Goddess\'s home with their 5 kiddos. We literally liquidated our home.... other than the children\'s bedroom and our own, which were moved intact... we got rid of everything else. I brought a few nik naks and pictures that were family heirlooms.... but basically the rest is gone. Goddess and I spend a portion of our days weeding thru each room and it\'s various cupboards and closets weeding out the unused and no longer needed and wanted from their 16 year accumulation of belongings. We now make purchases of items that are OURS.... we are making a life and a history together, with smatterings of our pasts apart sprinkled here and about.
